Julie McIntosh – Hairdressing Lecturer
My name is Julie and I’m one of the Hairdressing tutors in the department. Since October 2007 I have been employed at the City of Wolverhampton College. Before securing this post, I was a student at Wolverhampton College for 3 years. I studied African Caribbean hairdressing levels 1, 2, and 3, over three years. I also gained my qualifications in Level 3 Hairdressing European. After achieving my qualifications, I was approached by my head of school to see if I was interested in a teaching job, I accepted and my teaching career took off.
Since working at the college I have taught an array of subjects which include functional skills maths, English, and being an E driver, but my ultimate passion is working with excessively curly hair & researching different forms of teaching technology
I am a dedicated professional who aspires to achieve the best for myself, and my students.
