The Advanced Technology and Automotive Centre at Wellington Road will create the industry leaders of the future – securing hundreds of jobs in the local economy and create learning opportunities for thousands of students.

Designed for engineering and motor vehicle studies, it will focus on new electric, hybrid and traditional vehicles, offering CAD and high-tech robotics facilities.

Due to open in the 2023/2024 academic year, this project marks phase one of City of Wolverhampton Council’s City Learning Quarter masterplan, after successfully securing £7.7million funding from the West Midlands Combined Authority and the remainder from the Black Country LEP.
