This course is suitable for people who may have the need to work in 'Confined Spaces' such as sewers and tanks and/or 'Restricted Spaces' such as lofts and plant rooms. Would suit maintenance people, construction workers etc.
The course runs for 3 hours at a time convenient to you.
There are no formal entry requirements just a good understanding of spoken and written English
An overview of current legislation and controls is the basis for this session.
The aim is to manage work in these spaces and reduce potential risks.
There is no assessment - a College Certificate of Attendance will be issued
There are various other Health and Safety course to explore both short half-day and longer courses such as IOSH, Nebosh and NVQ's.
