If you want to work with children and young people this course will help you take the first steps into a career in the profession.
The BTEC Level 2 certificate in Children and Young People's Workforce will help you to develop a range of skills to enable you to work with children and young people from birth to 19 years and through a work experience placement you will get the chance to put the skills you learn in the classroom into practice in a real-life setting working alongside qualified staff.
On completion of the course you will be able to get a supervised position working with children and young people or progress to the Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce or gain an apprenticeship to work and train in an early years setting.

They will also support you to develop a portfolio of work and put together your CV or personal statement.
