School leavers unsure of their next steps after receiving their A Level results next week can log on to free advice sessions being run by City of Wolverhampton College.
The college is hosting the live chats from 10am until 2pm on Thursday 13 August, and Friday 14 August via the online Zoom platform.
Pupils can access the meeting link from the college website and will be directed to a member of the college’s careers team for impartial advice and guidance on re-taking exams, industry-recognised qualifications, going to university, applying for an apprenticeship, or looking for a job.
Rose Urkovskis, head of student entitlement at the college, said: “We know that this is a worrying time for this year’s cohort of A Level students who didn’t sit exams, however we will have a team of advisers on hand with advice and information to help them make decisions about their next steps.
“And we would like to reassure pupils that even if their results aren’t what they were hoping for, we will support them to follow the best route for their chosen career.”

The college is also offering a limited number of face-to-face advice sessions at the Paget Road campus, however this is not a drop-in service and places must be booked in advance by emailing hudsonmm@wolvcoll.ac.uk
