Richard Hewitt

Richard was appointed as Head of Apprenticeships in October 2023.
 
His key area of focus is to work closely with internal stakeholders to drive up the standard of apprenticeships, ensuring that they develop in line with individual employer requirements and position the college as one of the leading apprenticeship providers in the West Midlands region.
 
Richard joined the college in 2017  as an account manager in the employer engagement team, and became sector lead for apprenticeships in 2021, managing provision in the automotive, construction and engineering sectors.
