“Completing an apprenticeship whilst working has been a fantastic opportunity and has allowed me to expand on my current knowledge and experience whilst implementing it into my daily work and practice, says 26-year-old Ruth Bayliss who has just completed the Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker apprenticeship at Creative Support, in Dudley.
Ruth added: “All the information, knowledge and skills I have gained from the apprenticeship has enabled me to progress and develop my own individual personal development plan in relation to working in the health and social care industry.
“I have a passion for working with vulnerable adults and supporting individuals with a diverse range of support needs. I work to promote opportunity, choice and wellbeing whilst enabling and empowering individuals to live as independently as possible within their own homes. All of the modules covered within the apprenticeship have given me a foundation of knowledge to promote this as much as possible.
“I am appreciative of all the knowledge I have gained from the apprenticeship and for the staff at City of Wolverhampton College who have supported me throughout the duration of the course.”
