If you want a professional careers in the construction industry - such as management, architecture, design, quantity surveying, building surveying or land surveying - this is the course for you!
If you work in the computing and IT industry - or aspire to do so - this HTQ will move you a step closer to a career in the specialist field of computer science.
You will further expand your IT knowledge and develop a range of dynamic skills essential for working in the sector - from trouble shooting to software development - and will explore a range of topics enabling you to identify the area you wish to specialise in.
If you want to move into a management role, this HTQ will give you a solid understanding of the concepts of leadership and management and enable you to gain skills and qualities pertinent to key areas of the business you work in.
If you have completed your engineering apprenticeship and want to progress further in your career, are working as an engineering operative and want to improve your skills, or want to move up the career ladder into a supervisory or management role in the industry, an HTQ is a great qualification to have.

Yes. You can apply for a student loan to cover tuition fees, and for full-time students you can also apply for a maintenance loan. To find out more about student loans, click here
Each HTQ lasts 1 year when studying full-time, or 2 years when studying part-time.
After completing one of our HTQ Level 4 qualifications, you can progress onto further study including a HND or HTQ Level 5. Alternatively, you can go straight into employment in the area of study.
Yes. Each of our HTQ’s enable you to be flexible and study either part-time, or full-time. Each part-time HTQ lasts 2 years.
