A Level Environmental Science is a multi-disciplinary course and allows you to develop and demonstrate practical and theoretical knowledge of skills related to biology, geography and maths. You will see how elements of the environment around us all link together and use your theoretical and practical knowledge to complete your own research and investigation.

You will be required to sit two three-hour exams which comprise a combination of multiple choice, short answer and extended writing questions.
After you have successfully completed this course you can progress on to a higher education qualification at college or university, pursue an apprenticeship or apply for a job in a relevant field.
All our classrooms have access to WiFi, projectors and computer facilities, meaning you will benefit from the latest developments in ICT to make learning fun and interactive.
In addition, you will have exclusive access to our A Level Study Centre - based in wvSixth at the Paget Road campus which has controlled entry meaning it is only accessible to A Level students. The centre is equipped with more than 20 computers and has designated quiet study and common room areas, as well as a hot drinks machine.
